Planning for College Magazine

I am producing a college based magazine based at an audience of 16-19 year olds. I have chosen to call my magazine 'Fresher' as it is an american term for the first year of Uni and it gives students an anspiration for college students. I have also used it because it makes you think of the sweets. This concept is reflected in my background which has a fuzzy and fun colour scheme. On the first issue I will have a 16-19 year old girl with a folder to show she is in college. The following issue I will use a male on the cover to show that the magazine is aimed at both males and females. The main focus of the topics in this magazine will be college related e.g. revision tips, college based activities. But it will also have the typical magazine related things like horoscopes and quizes. I will make the magazine free because students are typically known for not having a lot of money so I think it will be much more appealing to them if it is free.
